When is the 2009 Robot Award of the Year in 2009 conducted?

There is no the Robot Award of the Year in 2009. We plan to start receiving applications for the 2010 award in the spring.

What were the previous past award winners?

Building a cleaning system using robots in 2006, a pair of M-430iA robots that enable high-speed handling using visual tracking functions in 2007 and Omnibot17μ i-SOBOT in 2008 received the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Award.

Where can I see the actual past award winning robots?

You can see past award winners at the International Robot 2009 held in the Tokyo Big Sight, Ariake, Tokyo from November 25 2009 to November 28 2009. * Past award winners are not on permanent exhibition anywhere.

Is it possible for entries from other countries to apply?

We plan to receive applications in the spring of 2010. Please see the application details for entry qualifications.
